               The
                sea calls to us
              Calls
to our ancient longings, the echoes of our origins, the half-remembered
dreams that beckon from the primal heart of humankind.
              Adventurers,
Explorers, Poets. All speak of this.
              Amid
the stresses of modern life what better way to find the simplicity
and tranquility of another time than aboard a well-found ship.
Perhaps, if even briefly, to escape the constraints of the land.
To later return ashore renewed and refreshed.

              Blarney
Pilgrim's keel was laid in 1985. Originally ordered by an American
client, she was to be built on Galiano Island in the shipyard
of Greg Foster, builder of the well-known Canadian sail-training
ship 'Pacific Swift'. The project was later discontinued, and
in 1986 her hull was brought to Victoria where the vessel was
completed by her present owner and captain, Paddy
                Hernon.

                About the Ship
              Blarney
Pilgrim's 17th Century design hull provides both a very sea-kindly
ship and considerable interior space. The gracious "Great cabin"
aft is ideal for intimate Dinner Parties,
or a quiet meeting space when one wishes to avoid the distractions
                of modern life.
              The Topsail
Schooner rig allows one to step back in time to the Great Days
of Sail. Charter parties are encouraged to participate in the
running of the ship and to enjoy to the full the experience that
a vessel of this kind can offer. This vessel is now available
for Charter for both Day Sails and
                more extensive Custom Packages.
              For the
romantic in all of us, Blarney Pilgrim offers the ideal venue
                for a "Wedding at Sea"
